Closing down Creston High School in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Friday marks the last day that Creston High School will be open. The Grand Rapids Public Schools Board of Education passed in December 2012 a transformation plan estimated to save the district $4.5 million annually and close a number of underperforming and under-capacity schools.
